This course is ideal for candidates for the Coastal Skipper practical course and Yachtmaster Offshore exam. Some revision of the Day Skipper shorebased course is included, plus more advanced skills in offshore and coastal navigation by day and night, pilotage and meteorology.
As with Day Skipper, the lessons are fun and relaxed and are interactive, so you will be able to take part in discussions. There is some homework set after each session and any difficulties can be discussed at the beginning of the following session.
All course materials, training charts and books are included in the price. Navigational instruments are available on loan (intensive courses) or to buy at the time.
